Operation Connecting Milwaukee is a grassroots organizing initiative of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County focused on doing things differently—and doing them better. The time has come to move beyond broad, top-down structures and build conservative strength at the neighborhood level.

Through the Municipality Committee Chair and Ward Captain Program, RPMC has shifted to a local, accountable, and action-oriented model. We are actively looking for members willing to connect with other conservatives in their neighborhoods, strengthen relationships, and make sure we can count on those votes when it matters most.

As we have the past few months, we will give members at Caucus a higher level overview of this initiative and ask you to join us.

Operation Connecting Milwaukee is built around empowering local “connectors” who know their communities and can help drive voter engagement, turnout, and grassroots growth.

Please like, follow, and share the Operation Connecting Milwaukee Facebook page, and consider becoming the connector in your neighborhood. For more information or to get involved, please contact our Executive Director Lisa Bingenheimer.

Upcoming Events

The Republican Party of Milwaukee County Candidate Recruitment Committeeserves as a cornerstone of member engagement, hosting frequent educational events for members and guests on timely policy issues and candidate introductions. The committee provides a forum to learn, ask questions, and engage directly with leaders shaping Wisconsin’s future.

This January, the committee will host two events: one focused on the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB), and another “get-to-know-you” event featuring Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate Maria Lazar, giving attendees an opportunity to hear directly from her and discuss the issues that matter most.

Getting to Know the RPMC Board

Inna Turner serves as Member-at-Large of the RPMC and is a respected leader in both education and professional service. She currently serves on the board of NorthShore Classical Academy, a Hillsdale Curriculum High School. Inna brings more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry—including over 20 years in senior leadership roles at a Fortune 500 company—where she is known for her results-driven approach, sense of urgency, and commitment to accountability.

Her passion for classical education is personal as well as professional, shaped by her family’s experience and her belief in educating the whole child. Inna’s service to RPMC is part of a family legacy: her husband, Phil, serves as RPMC Treasurer, and her son Jacob is the TPUSA chapter chair at Concordia. Together, the Turner family makes an extraordinary contribution to the mission and strength of RPMC.

A Member-at-Large is a board member who serves the entire organization, rather than representing a specific district, committee, or officer role.

In plain terms:

  • They are full voting members of the board

  • They provide broad perspective and flexibility, stepping in where needed

  • They often take on special projects, initiatives, or advisory roles

  • Their focus is the overall mission and health of the organization, not a single portfolio

Local News: Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan Resigns — What Happens Next in the Circuit Court Vacancy

Image

Disgraced Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan has resigned after being convicted of felony obstruction in federal court — making her a convicted felon and leaving her seat officially vacant.

Under Wisconsin law, Governor Tony Evers will appoint a replacement to serve out the rest of Dugan’s term. No special election will be held; the appointed judge will serve until the next regularly scheduled judicial election, when voters finally have a say in who holds the seat long-term. In the meantime, Dugan’s caseload has already been reassigned to other judges.

ICYMI: Chairman of the RPMC, Hilario Deleon, addressed the Dugan trial case earlier this month on Fox 6 News.
