THE ISSUES:
The election results of April 1, 2025 highlighted multiple issues:
Approximately 57,000 Milwaukee County residents, who voted Republican in prior election cycles, failed to vote in 2024 and the 2025 election cycle.
The results of this voter in-action has resulted in a Democratic liberal majority in the Supreme Court, an allowance of a 402 year increase in our property taxes; the re-election of US Senator Tammy Baldwin, as well as local liberal Democratic school board positions, Aldermanic, etc.
What’s now in jeopardy are two Republican Congressional seats along with other State Assembly and Senate and a Supreme Court Justice seat.
Let’s look at the statistics and how our voices can make an impact:
Why Seniors: the median age in Milwaukee County, WI is 35.4, as per the 2019-2023 ACS 5 -Year Estimates. Of the total population, 19.93% were under the age of 15, 21.48% aged 15 to 29, 44.20% aged 30 to 64, 12.56% aged 65 to 84, and 1.82% were 85 years of age and older.
Milwaukee County’s population of 55+ is 288,606 of 990,000. Numerically, we have the numbers to make change.
Like our initial Brainstorming session in November 2024, the purpose of this session is to network with other conservatives, gain your insights and suggestions regarding the following and other topics that are brought forth:
How can seniors; 55 +, work together with the upcoming youth of the RPMC, to move the party forward, reduce apathy and improve awareness of the overall impact of electing liberal Democrats?
How do YOU as a conservative 55+ want to change the Republican Party of Milwaukee County?
What educational topics are important for you, a 55+ year old conservative:
How do you feel we can best support our State Assembly, Senators, school boards?
How do we reach our religious leaders?
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the RPMC office: 801 S. 108th Street, West Allis, WI OR via the Zoom link above.
(Parking is also available in the old HOBO Lot, which is now owned by U-HAUL. Permission was given to us in February, 2025.)
CHANGE DOES NOT OCCUR WITHOUT ACTION: FEBRUARY 2026 PRIMARIES AREN'T THAT FAR AWAY.
Thank you,
Gene Genal, RPMC Candidate Recruitment Coordinator and Sandy Janzer RPMC Executive Board Secretary.
